This event is ideal for small business owners who are new to government contracting or looking to expand into federal, state, local, or tribal procurement. Attendees will benefit from understanding where their business fits within the government purchasing process, what registrations and certifications are required, and how to strengthen key tools such as capability statements. Participants should attend if they want to learn how agencies buy, clarify procurement terminology and thresholds, and discover the no cost technical assistance and bid matching services offered by APEX Accelerators. • Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB)

• Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB)

• All other small business socioeconomic classifications are encouraged to attend.

This webinar introduces small businesses particularly Native-owned enterprises to the fundamentals of government contracting at the federal, state, local and tribal levels. Participants gain an overview of how government agencies purchase goods and services,
where small businesses fit into the procurement ecosystem, and the role of APEX Accelerators in providing no-cost technical assistance. The session covers essential topics including procurement terminology, purchasing thresholds, required registrations, federal certifications, capability statements, and bid-matching services. Emphasis is placed on preparation, compliance, and strategic positioning to successfully pursue government contracts. Attendees leave with practical next steps and an understanding of how to leverage APEX resources to build long-term contracting success.
